Position Summary/Details
Department: Utility Accounting – Energy Settlements
Assisting Settlements Accounting team with preparation of monthly natural gas volume reports, audit requests and ad hoc reporting. Exposure to key Financial systems, Month-End Close, and commodity trading. Duties increase in complexity based upon the co-op’s interest and aptitude.
Examples Of Activities Include
Working Conditions: Mostly in a normal office environment
Preferred Availability: Part – Time (20-30 hours)
Qualifications
Education:
The successful applicant should be enrolled in an accredited university as a college undergraduate or a graduate level post-secondary educational program in a related discipline.

- Daily communication with internal and external customers
- Validating Fuel invoices
- Journal Entries
- Audit Requests
- Month-end Close activities

- To qualify as a co-op student, enrollment in the university’s co-op program (proof of enrollment required); if not eligible for co-op program (or program unavailable), the student will be considered an intern.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required.
