- Facilitates and directly performs, as appropriate, installation, preventive maintenance and the repair, as needed, of facility equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and office equipment. This excludes medical equipment and IT equipment.
- Facilitates and directly performs, when requested, the repair and painting of walls, the removal or replacement of wall items, and the hanging of pictures or signage.
- Performs as needed clean up and repairs of all leaks to include, but not limited to, changing of ceiling tiles, cleaning up floors, etc. Also, determining the cause of leaks and repairing or calling outside vendors as needed.
- Assists with inspections of facility equipment such as fire alarm, fire sprinkler, fire extinguishers, generators, and backflow preventers.
- Assists the Director of Facilities and Project Management with planning, scheduling, and performing facility modifications.
- Works within approved budget and Tandem Health goals for all maintenance repairs and projects.
- Assists with heavy lifting when necessary related to moving furniture and/or supplies.
- Assists with oversight of facility parking lots regarding signage, arrows, striping, and pole lights.
- Assists with the cleaning of carpet in offices.
- Complies with all safety and OSHA rules in performing job duties and ensures assigned employees comply with rules and all safety procedures.
- Must understand and comply with infection control policies and procedures when performing duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager and director.

- Works cooperatively with all staff and communicates effectively with staff regarding work tickets, projects, and any work stoppages or closings required.

- High School Graduate or GED required.
- Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of progressive experience and responsibility in a facilities and maintenance field.
- Licensed preferred in contracting, plumbing, electrical, and/or mechanical.
