The Medical Billing Coordinator is a non-exempt safety sensitive position, the position is to ensure timely and accurate billing for Tandem Living. This position will be performed in accordance with TANDEM LIVINGS’ Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with additional billing experience required.

• Previous experience with PointClickCare preferred.

• Experience in billing Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans required.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Participates in monthly triple check meeting(s) with the Lead RNAC, Therapy, and other members of the Billing Team.

• Completes Daily Census Changes, as needed.

• Responsible for filing of quarterly Medicare credit balance reporting to CMS.

• Reviews and reconciles necessary reports to ensure billing accuracy.

• Works closely with third party billers, as needed to ensure accuracy and comprehensive communication.

• Serves as back-up for billing of other payers for Skilled Nursing and Personal Care residents, as needed.
