Senior Fixed Income Analyst/ Portfolio Manager

THIS POSITION IS HYBRID, BUT REQUIRES IN OFFICE MON-THURS IN NYC.

As a Fixed Income Portfolio Analyst, you will join a team focused on fixed income portfolio construction and analysis. You will actively monitor portfolio risk metrics by producing reports and analyzing model scenarios, generate orders to express investment conviction, perform pre-trade portfolio analysis, and partner closely with investment professionals and traders to monitor real-time fixed income market activity.

STRUCTURED PRODUCT EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform macro/policies/capital market analysis and maintain advanced knowledge of fixed income markets
• Perform fundamental and technical analysis of rates, credit (HY, IG), FI derivatives, structured finance (MBS, CLO, ABS etc.), and FX
• Identify investment opportunities and develop investment strategies for multi-asset fixed income portfolio construction and rebalancing (monthly, and quarterly)
• Monitor the performance of the fixed income securities/sectors in hybrid portfolios, and analyze the embedded risk factors to manage the downside risks
• Initiate improvement/development of portfolio management tools, processes, and reporting
• Communicate with manager, analyst, research providers, broker dealers and vendors for portfolio management
• Participate in business meetings in different time zones to share investment ideas/analysis and prepare reports/presentations

Desired Skills/Experience

• 7 years of experience in investment, credit (HY, IG), FI derivatives, structured finance(MBS, CLO, ABS and etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related fields
• Ability to clearly communicate and articulate ideas both written and orally
• Excellent financial, mathematical, and statistical skills
• Reliable and timely, with independent problem-solving skills
• Team player who is committed, dedicated, and confident
