Tandem Services, which provides supported community living services to individuals with intellectual disabilities, is seeking an administrative assistant/office manager.
Hours
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with modern office practices and procedures.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Correct English usage, composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Proficiency in business letter and report writing, editing, and proofreading.
- Knowledge of methods of collecting and organizing data and information.
- Knowledge of computer procedures, software, and applications.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of privileged information obtained in the course of work.
- Experience as an administrator, office manager, case manager or executive assistant is strongly preferred.
- 2 year associates degree.
- Ability to pass criminal and child and dependent adult abuse background checks.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Duties
- Provide executive support to the CEO and COO: perform a wide variety of responsible administrative, secretarial, and clerical duties requiring a high level of organization and frequent contact with Clients, Host home providers, Iowa Medicaid Enterprises, MCOs, Case Managers, Guardians, other related work as required.
- Perform home visits to client residence at least monthly.
- Create and maintain personnel, client, and financial databases and records.
- Manage emails, letters, packages, phone calls and other forms of correspondence
- Perform minimal and straightforward billing functions.
- Track and replace office supplies as necessary to avoid interruptions in standard front office procedures
- Maintains and coordinates appointments, meeting invitations, and calendar events.
- Compose correspondence independently on a variety of matters including those of a confidential nature.
- Attends all board meetings, compose minutes, and maintain a database of agendas, minutes, and media.
- Input a variety of data into Therap; establishes and maintains records, files, and databases; assure accuracy of input and output data.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
