Housekeeping

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in residential or commercial settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and guests. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Manage floor care tasks such as sweeping, waxing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
• Provide housekeeping management by organizing cleaning schedules and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to client requests and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Conduct carpet cleaning and maintenance as needed to ensure carpets remain in excellent condition.
• Assist with cooking or meal preparation when required, maintaining cleanliness in kitchen areas post-preparation.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.

Requirements

• Proven experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of residential cleaning practices and commercial cleaning standards.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently or as part of a team.
• Familiarity with various cleaning equipment and supplies is advantageous.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
