What are the responsibilities and job description for the EEO/Affirmative Action Officer position at Tandym Group?
A renowned New Jersey-based services organization is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a new EEO / Affirmative Action Officer to their team.
***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work on-site a few days a week with potential travel.***
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Affirmative Action Program: Help develop and monitor the Affirmative Action Program and ensure it complies with federal regulations.
- Analyze Employment Data: Review and assess employment data, including hiring, promotions, training, and terminations, for compliance with EEO/AA standards.
- Create Reports: Generate reports using Excel that display EEO data for federal and state reporting, including EEO-4 job categories.
- Data Assessment: Assess employment practices to ensure there's no adverse impact on protected categories (race, gender, etc.).
- Document Management: Maintain and update the department's forms and templates used during the EEO investigation process.
- Collaboration with HR: Work with HR and other teams to ensure fair recruitment, hiring, promotion, and training practices.
- Training & Orientation: Assist in managing internal training for employees and conduct new hire orientation on EEO policies.
- External Outreach: Support outreach initiatives to promote diversity and inclusivity in hiring.
- Compliance Monitoring: Help ensure that sub-recipients and contractors receiving federal funds comply with EEO requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of EEO/AA regulations.
- Proficient in Excel and data reporting.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with HR compliance and employee training is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR, business, or related field.
Salary : $35 - $45
