In partnership with Madrigal Pharmaceuticals, we are excited to launch the inaugural 2025 Internship Program through Tandym Group at Madrigal Pharmaceuticals.
Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company pursuing novel therapeutics for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), also known as metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Our first therapy, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), was granted accelerated approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of adults with NASH with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis (consistent with stages F2 to F3 fibrosis) and is being studied in a Phase 3 trial for the treatment of NASH with compensated cirrhosis.
Internship Overview:
This 10-week Summer Internship Program is an immersive experience tailored for highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students who are passionate about science, medicine, and the potential to make a real-world impact. Interns will engage in meaningful, hands-on work and contribute to projects that reflect the complexity and excitement of the biopharmaceutical industry.
Over the course of this engagement, interns will have exposure to a variety of departments, walking away with not only a strong understanding of their unique role, but also the understanding of a drug lifecycle as it enters the market, and various career pathways within the industry. The program offers a wonderful opportunity for students to directly interface with Executive Leadership and Key Stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support in day-to-day operations, development, and special projects
- Participate in cross-functional meetings, gaining insight into the drug development process.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and regulatory documentation
- Collaborate with team members to solve scientific and technical challenges
- Present findings and insights at the end of the internship
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Related Field
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Prior industry experience (preferred but not required)
- Passion for the biopharmaceutical industry and a desire to make an impact

Salary : $25 - $28
