Senior Financial Analyst - Contract to Hire

A leading independent asset management firm is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Chief Operations Office (COO). This high-visibility role involves financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic initiatives for a $150MM budget across multiple departments, including Global Fund and Client Services, Global Investment Services, Market Data, and HR.

• Provide financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting for the COO division.
• Partner with executive leaders to support business strategy and transformation efforts.
• Develop financial models to drive accurate projections and budgeting.
• Prepare executive-level financial reports and summaries.
• Monitor business performance, analyze cost-benefit scenarios, and identify areas for operational efficiencies.
• Promote expense discipline and continuous process improvement.
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong leadership in financial decision-making.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7-10 years of experience in finance, accounting, analytics, or reporting.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas) and proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.

• Experience with Oracle, Essbase, and SmartView.
• Finance and accounting expertise related to Operations.
