Sonographer - Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist

A Syracuse, NY-based is looking to add a new Sonographer - Ultrasound / Vascular Technologist to their growing team.

About the Opportunity :

  • Start Date : ASAP
  • Assignment Length : 13-week contract (possibility of extension)
  • Shift : Afternoons
  • Schedule : Monday to Friday
  • Hours : 12pm to 8 : 30pm
  • Setting : Acute Care
  • EMR : EPIC

Responsibilities :

  • Perform daily operations of the sonographic laboratory
  • Handle patient schedule
  • Perform daily equipment maintenance and quality assurance
  • Use independent judgment during the sonographic exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings
  • Obtain appropriate medical history and communicate findings to the Radiologist
  • Perform other duties, as needed

    • Qualifications :

  • 1 year of related experience
  • Graduate of Ultrasound program accredited by the Council for Higher Education (CHEA)
  • RDMS certification in Abdominal and OB / GYN
    • Desired Skills :
  • Bilingual
  • Working knowledge of Epic EMRs
