About The Opportunity
- Start: ASAP
- Length of Assignment: Through the end of the 2023-24 school year
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Patient Population: Students ages 5-22 years old with Intellectual / Developmental Disabilities
Responsibilities
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Will Be Responsible For
- Helping students access the academic environment and participate to the maximum extent possible in educationally related activities
- Evaluating and treating students with disabilities
- Maintaining daily progress and attendance records, writing progress reports, and attending IEP meetings
- Completing other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Active New York State Speech Language Pathologist license
- Active New York State TSSLD
- Pediatric experience
- Proficiency with computer platforms and applications
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills
