An inpatient mental health facility is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Speech/voice/language (expressive and comprehension)/auditory processing/cognition and swallowing (dysphagia) screenings and protocol development
- Clinical diagnostic evaluations
- Swallowing treatment and behavior plans for individuals
- Swallowing intervention/training for groups
- Staff training
- General consultation.
Requirements:
- License and current registration to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in NYS.
- At least one year of experience treating individuals diagnosed with speech and swallowing disorders and deficits.
