A recognized manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Business / Data Analyst, with strong Cloud-Data experience, to join their team. In this role, the Senior Business Analyst will have the responsibility for eliciting business needs, performing detailed analysis and documentation, modeling processes, evaluating impacts, prioritizing business requests, and partnering with the project teams to ensure the successful delivery of new Cloud-Data Lake capabilities in support of various applications.

Responsibilities :
Solve complex business problems utilizing business process redesign and cloud computing technologies
Assess AS-IS processes and develop new processes and / or business flows to leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) capabilities of Software-As-A-Service (SAAS)
Consult with the Data Engineering team and functional unit owners and document a gap analysis of capabilities, requirements, and needs against technology
Apply business process re-engineering methodologies for systems modernization
Develops new standard operating procedures documentation and a handbook for Data Lake Prepare and present findings, recommendations, new operating models, and new workflows in consultation with the Data Engineering team
Create the methodology to measure process performance against established
Build a solid understanding of business needs and requests, identifying solutions, gathering information, and translating business needs into documented artifacts that are understandable to business and IT personnel alike
Work with the Business Users to analyze processes and system issues and turn them into actionable system changes that benefit the requesting party(s), improve efficiency in operations and overall performance
Collaborate with project teams and business partners during project planning, incremental software delivery reviews, and User Acceptance testing to ensure the software has been implemented based on the specifications
Qualifications :
10 years of IT experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related majors
Experience in enterprise Business-to-Business durable goods, construction, or building materials manufacturing
Experience in Systems Analysis, Data Analysis and Design with proven record of successful large scale project implementations
Experience in SDLC and Agile / Scrum methodology, including : eliciting / documenting user stories / acceptance criteria, backlog management, and Sprint reviews
Modeling experience (e.g., process flows, use cases, swim lane diagrams, AS-IS / TO-BE diagrams, mock-ups / wireframes)
Experience in Google Cloud technology
Experience in data Modeling
Experience in process re-engineering
Knowledge of Information Security
Solid understanding of Web Applications
Experience in Jira
Solid problem-solving and time-management skills
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
Desired Skills :
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification
