A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and / or Physician Assistant (PA) for a promising opportunity with their Urgent Care team in Brooklyn.
About the Opportunity :
Specialty : Urgent Care
Patient Population : All ages (mainly adults)
Hours : 3 12-hour shifts per week
Call Schedule : Weekend rotations
Responsibilities :
The Urgent Care NP / PA will :
Perform assessment and interventions for each patient
Participate in interdisciplinary committees that influence or determine policies
Follow facility procedures / protocols for admitting residents transferring to hospitals / clinics / outpatient visits
Complete appropriate documentation based on the established guidelines
Assist in defining, maintaining, and interpreting standards of practice
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications :
2 years of experience in an Urgent Care role / setting
Bachelor's and / or Master's Degree
NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and / or Physician Assistant (PA) license
Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
Patient oriented
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
