Job Details
A financial services company in North Carolina is looking to add a new Technical Product Owner to their growing team in Charlotte.
***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.***
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with leadership, technology, business, and digital partners to define and shape the customer and associate experience
- Define and prioritize product needs based on the product strategy and roadmap
- Validate product requirements have been met for each development iteration
- Help define and conduct product demonstrations that show development progress and alignment with product goals
- Actively participate in Agile Scrum framework, supporting Technical Product Owner activities
- Support the team by reviewing business and technical requirements and architecture
- Support the product vision and strategy
- Support the team in developing and clearly communicating product plans, benefits, and results to a spectrum of audiences, from internal stakeholders to customers
- Facilitate effective and efficient cross-team collaboration while ensuring documentation is whole
- Triage product issues with business and technology partners to ensure swift and satisfactory resolution with minimal impact to users and the business
- Create a consistent, proactive reporting routine for standard program updates and transparency to management
- Remains engaged in all steps of the sprint process, including validation/testing and participation in regularly scheduled technology releases
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 5 years of proven professional experience balancing competing priorities and iteratively delivering value to customers
- Proven experience and understanding that measurement and analysis is critical to success
- Detailed-oriented and able to perform tasks at all levels, including some routine tasks
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Strong PC skills required: Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficiency

Desired Skills:
- Professional experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum processes
- Professional experience in Technical Product Management
