Job Details
A recognized services organization in Missouri is currently seeking a new Tier 1 Support Technician to join their growing team in the Greater Kansas City area.
***U.S. Citizenship required. Also - must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.***
Responsibilities:
- Perform duties in support of a wide variety of IT issues for end-users
- Use OCR for document recognition
- Perform light systems administrator duties: upgrading, installing, configuring application software and computer hardware
- Follow strict ITIL and ISO 20000-1 guidelines using ITSM system with monitored SLA
- Assist with PC, laptop, desktop, and software issues,
- Handle installation and configurations as well as User account management
- Oversee VTC setup and support for meetings
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as a Help Desk Technician
- Associate's Degree
- Excellent technical knowledge of computer hardware
- Experience working with In Tune and Microsoft Office troubleshooting and installation
- Experience upgrading, installing, and/or configuring application software and computer hardware
- Hands-on Windows 10/11 troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and/or Mac systems
- Microsoft Office proficient
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Working knowledge of Windows 10, MacOS
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
- Basic Network troubleshooting skills including Wireless and LAN
- Experience using ITSM system with SLA's (i.e., ManageEngine)
- Experience utilizing Bitlocker or other encryption tools
