What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Engineer position at Tandym?
A New York City-based entertainment organization is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a new Desktop Engineer. In this role, the Desktop Engineer will be responsible for managing and securing a fleet of client devices.
This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 4 days a week at either their New York City office or their Bethpage, Long Island.
Responsibilities :
Manage enterprise device management platforms, including Microsoft InTune, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), JAMF Pro, and Apple Business Manager
Deploy software updates, security updates, and operating system upgrade
Build software update deployment packages for Windows and macOS
Assist with the development and enhancement of Windows AutoPilot
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications :
3 years of experience managing and supporting Microsoft Active Directory
3 years of experience managing and supporting SCCM
3 years of experience managing and supporting JAMF Pro
3 years of experience packaging software and security updates
1 years of experience with Microsoft EndPoint Management (InTune)
1 years of experience with Microsoft PowerShell scripting
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, and / or a related field
Strong understanding of macOS and Windows, including their architecture, security features, and troubleshooting
Strong knowledge of deploying Windows 10 / 11 operating systems
Experience with zero-touch provisioning workflows
Strong knowledge of networking and Server Administration
Experience with Microsoft SQL databases
Experience with Microsoft Graph
Strong knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) practices
