As a camp instructor, you’ll have the opportunity to teach week-long day camps for elementary students. You’ll gain leadership, time and classroom management skills. Hours will vary based upon camp enrollment, but camp instructors should expect to work 15-30 hours per week from late May to early August.
Training for this position: Mandatory orientation in April. Mandatory training dates are May 3rd and 17th.

Requirements:
- 18 years or older
- 4-year degree in zoology, environmental studies, wildlife biology, education, or similar field preferred OR a combination of education and relevant experience.
- Excellent public speaking and customer service skills
- Desire to grow as a team member, educator, and human being
- Ability to stand or walk and be able to perform physical work outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to bend, stoop, and lift 25-50 pounds when necessary
- Ability to work long hours, weekends, weekdays, and holidays when needed
Compensation and Benefits:
