At Tangent Technologies, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead our production efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cost, quality, and manufacturability of new and existing product lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the New Product Development team to transition approved designs into mass manufacturing in Fab and Assembly.
- Work closely with manufacturing, tooling, and maintenance teams in Extrusion to ensure low-cost, high-quality production is continuously at the forefront.
- Refine and scale the manufacturing process for our current and new products.
- Study production and machine requirements to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and test effective automated and manual systems to optimize production processes.
- Design and install new equipment and systems to improve manufacturing efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including extrusion, fabrication, and assembly.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Proficient in CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
