Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Support Administrator with a strong understanding of Microsoft 365 (O365) and Azure Cloud to join our IT team. This mixed-role position combines technical support, system administration, cloud-based solutions management, and Microsoft 365 expertise, requiring proficiency in troubleshooting, maintaining systems, and leveraging cloud technologies to ensure smooth and efficient IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to end users for both on-premises and cloud-based systems, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, etc.), ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Collaborate with other teams to diagnose and resolve issues related to Azure cloud services, Microsoft 365, and IT systems.
- Provide technical guidance and training to non-technical users on Microsoft 365 tools and systems.
- Support Microsoft Teams environments, including user management, app integrations, and troubleshooting.
- Respond to user queries via phone, email, and ticketing systems, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Plan and schedule work activities, coordinate activities with other cross-functional team members to meet day-to-day activities and project goals.
- Support and assist in the execution of IT and cloud-related projects, including migrations, upgrades, and deployments.
- Administer and maintain cloud resources in Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networks, and other Azure services.
- Monitor the performance and health of Azure-based applications and services, taking proactive steps to address issues before they impact operations.
- Manage software installations, updates, and patches for operating systems and applications.
- Expertise in Microsoft 365 applications and services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, etc.) Required.
- Proficiency in Azure services (Compute, Storage, and Networking).
- Experience with server and network administration in cloud environments.
- Basic knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) is a plus.
- 3 years of experience in a support administrator role with a focus on IT systems and cloud services, particularly Microsoft ecosystem.
- Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Certified (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert) is a plus.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or similar Azure certification is preferred.
- Additional IT certifications CompTIA are beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
