What you’ll do:

We are currently looking to hire an energetic, highly motivated, can-do attitude individual who enjoys networking and establishing relationships to join our team as VP Strategic Partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and growing Tangoe’s Strategic Partners business including: Alliance Partners/GSIs  (Global System Integrators), Channel Partners (Resellers and Agents), VARS, Technology Partners (Apple), and EMEA Partners. Establish executive presence and relationship building with your partner counterparts.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create partner GTM strategy and sales plans in alignment with business objectives
  • Drive growth in key Partner business metrics: Lead Registrations, Pipeline, and Bookings
  • Grow Alliance Partners business – evolve from transactional model to strategic, programmatic, model
  • Strengthen and grow business with existing national reseller partners
  • Establish new route to market with Master Agents and associated trusted advisor ecosystems
  • Launch joint GTM initiatives to further monetize OEM/Technology partnerships 
  • Deepen EMEA partner ecosystem with agents, resellers, and carriers
  • Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings
  • Launch tactical sales plays/campaigns to drive pipeline growth
  • Identify hiring needs, and recruit, hire, and train new partner sales resources
  • Evaluate sales rep and manager performance and implement corrective action plans
  • Prepare and review the annual budget for each area of responsibility
  • Analyze regional market trends and identify new opportunities for growth
  • Collaborate with Tangoe internal constituents to achieve bookings targets (Product, Delivery, Operations, Legal, Finance, Marketing)
  • Propose new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase partner experience and satisfaction


Who you are:  

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; MBA preferred 
  • 12 years of Channel/Partner Sales Leadership experience in a similar industry
  • Must be highly effective with oral, written and formal presentation / communication skills  
  • In depth familiarity with account management, telecom and telecom expense management industry
  • Significant sales experience including forecasting and pipeline management
  • Demonstrated experience growing business
  • Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance partner sales team
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)
  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Availability to travel as needed
