Job Title: Website application server administrator

Job Description:
- Manage and maintain enterprise-level web hosting platforms (including both on-premise and cloud-based).
- Collaborate with the development, IT, and security teams to ensure the web hosting environment meets the company's business requirements.
- Ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of hosting environments.
- Oversee the deployment and configuration of web hosting servers, databases, and web applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hosting issues, escalating as needed.
- Monitor system performance, server logs, and alert systems to proactively address potential issues.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies for high availability.
- Lead efforts to improve the security of web hosting environments, including the implementation of firewalls, encryption, and vulnerability management.
- Automate routine tasks using scripts and tools to improve efficiency.
- Perform capacity planning and manage resource allocation to optimize performance and cost.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on hosting configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other teams regarding hosting-related queries.
Must have skills: Should be able to work on below skills.
- Web app server administration
- HTTP server
- HTML & CSS development
- Static site management.
- Web app admin with ColdFusion/ WebLogic/WebSphere/Tomcat.
- Should be able to understand database query/connection skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree** in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
