As a member of Tanium's Brand and Corporate Marketing team, the Back-End Developer reports to the Web Architect to maintain legacy code and build out new features and functionality for Tanium websites. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in WordPress, as well as a deep understanding of Object-Oriented PHP and SQL.This is a hybrid position, which will require in-person attendance several days each week in one of the following locations : Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.What you'll do :

Collaborate with a distributed team of front-end developers, content managers, and designersBuild new features and functionality for Tanium websitesMaintain and update existing components and librariesWrite secure, reusable code for WordPress and proprietary web architecturesOptimize legacy code for scalability and efficiencyRecognize, identify, and patch vulnerabilities in the codeWe're looking for someone with :
