Area of Responsibilities

- Maintains required knowledge training and functions within scope of practice. (1) Performs basic patient care attending to physical and emotional needs of the patient in a family oriented environment. (3) Effectively understands and operates basic equipment used routinely on the unit (EKG, VSM, Accucheck, etc.) (4) Demonstrates the ability to work safely and responsibly under general supervision. (5) Demonstrates behaviors necessary for age-specific care and knowledge of decision making process for all ages of population(s) served. (6) Complies with standards set forth by The Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies. (7) Participates in Quality Improvement and other process(s) as requested.
