KIDS PROGRAM LEAD

Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Kids Program Lead to oversee the daily operations of our Kid's Club Program and ensure exceptional experiences for children aged 4-12. The Lead will act as a mentor and role model for program employees while maintaining a fun, safe, and engaging environment. This position involves coordinating activities, teaching authentic western horsemanship, and supporting team members in delivering unforgettable experiences. Riding experience is preferred, and prior leadership and childcare experience are required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for the Kids Program, overseeing daily operations and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate, supervise, and lead activities for children, ensuring a fun and engaging atmosphere.
• Develop, plan, and implement creative, age-appropriate programs in alignment with program goals.
• Provide guidance and support to Kids Program employees, fostering teamwork and positive communication.
• Monitor the program’s performance and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding program activities and children’s participation.
• Maintain records of attendance, incidents, and feedback for reporting purposes.
• Assist with horseback riding instruction and safety, as needed.
• Uphold the company’s core values and ensure program alignment with the CoteCares philosophy.

Leadership Qualifications:

• Proven leadership experience in a similar role, preferably in a childcare or recreational program.
• Strong interpersonal and team-building skills with the ability to mentor and inspire others.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to lead by example and maintain professionalism at all times.

General Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children in a structured environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle conflicts or challenges calmly and effectively.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights.

Education & Certifications:

• Childcare certification or equivalent experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification (required or willing to obtain upon hire).
• Riding experience and familiarity with western horsemanship (preferred).
