Manager / Senior Manager of Logistics & Operations

About the job:

The Manager / Senior Manager of Logistics and Operations will own and oversee the areas of Logistics, Transportation, Warehousing and Inventory Management, working cross-functionally across the 3PL, Production, Finance, Wholesale and DTC teams to ensure seamless movement and tracking of goods. This role reports to the VP of Finance & Operations and requires a hands-on approach, strong analytical skills, and a very high level of ownership and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactive management of the supply chain from initial order entry to final receipt by customer
• Order management, arranging transportation of incoming goods, inventory entry & allocation in the system, processing by 3rd party warehouse team, partnering on credit management with A/R and sales teams and all aspects of wholesale shipping
• Track product completion dates in partnership with the internal production team to ensure timely processing. Book inbound shipments with carrier partners or freight forwarders with an eye towards speed and cost. Communicate expected X-warehouse dates consistently to the sales team
• Work closely with the 3PL and hold them accountable to prioritize, process and meet each customer’s specific requirements for shipping protocol, including properly tagging and packaging products, and optimizing shipping costs
• Manage e-commerce returns and provide operational support to the E-commerce team
• Perform inventory reconciliations and invoicing related to special events
• Maintain all client profiles and accurate records in RLM, implement EDI for wholesale clients, provide shipping and inventory reporting, track all customer orders and inventory management
• Perform data entry tasks for order fulfillment, compliance and documentation required by domestic wholesale clients, overseas clients and logistics partners

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience managing wholesale and DTC supply chain within an established apparel or accessories company
• Experience with financial inventory control – ensuring inventory in all business channels is accurate
• Experience in RLM or an equivalent ERP system required
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills are a must
