Tap House Grill St. Charles in Saint Charles, IL is looking for a part time/ full time bartending manager to join our 24 person strong team. We are located on 3341 W Main Street St.. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working.

Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Pledges to perform job function while upholding company policy and procedures according to company operating policy's manual
- Assumes 100% responsibility for operating the property in accordance to all state and local laws and ordinances
- Assumes 100% responsibility for the quality of the customer experience
- Leads by example and will hold Staff Accountable for their actions
- Communicates with Clarity and responds quickly to staff and corporates needs
- Assumes 100% responsibility of coaching all employees per shift in all departments following job descriptions, policies and procedures
- Participates in all weekly Manager and monthly staff meetings
- Follows Daily Manager agenda and opening and closing checklists for all departments
- Trained and able to train the P.O.S. functions and all back office software
- Works with the Chef/ Kitchen Manager and kitchen staff to assure 100% quality in our food product, and Recipe Adherence 100% of the time
- Demonstrates 100% commitment to management, employee continued training and development
- Night shift
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate
- Ability to teach and train others
- Must be alert to customer and employee needs
- CERTIFICATES REQUIRED: State of Illinois Certified Food Protection Manager
- Illinois Food Handlers Card
- Basset Certified
