Community Health Center Manager

As an integral Care Team member, the CHC Manager oversees the day-to-day operational activities of one or more assigned Tapestry 360 Community Health Centers.

Major Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, supervise and evaluate direct reports, including Patient Support Specialists, Clinical Support Assistants, Medical Assistants, IHC Supervisors, and IHC Assistant Managers at assigned locations.
- Directly supervises employees – assign and direct work, conduct performance appraisals, address complaints, take appropriate disciplinary action with prior approval in accordance with limitations set forth in the Collective
- Bargaining Agreement and Tap360 policies.
- Ensure Patient Support Team follows established customer service goals and AIDET.
- Develop and review policies related to business operational support functions including scheduling, registration, and eligibility screening.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification
- Excellent customer service and nonverbal active listening skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Associates Degree and six (6) years of experience working in a community health center or medical practice or equivalent and at least two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- •Certificate in Medical Practice Management, Associate Degree in Medical Practice Management or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Health Administration preferred.
