What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Bartender position at Taphouse Pub and Eatery (Star Location)?
Our restaurant is seeking PT/FT position (15 to 25 hours a week) for someone who wants to serve with the possibility to bartend shortly thereafter who are excited to join our team and uphold our company's vision and standards. The ideal candidate for this role must have experience in a high volume, casual dining environment and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Handle money and valuables equitably and responsibly, following established procedures and operating cash registers.
- Handle multiple responsibilities such as cleaning, ticketing, and serving food.
- Serve food in a timely and efficient manner, serving customers with courtesy.
- Works as part of a team of wait staff.
- Work under pressure during peak hours.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
Skills
- 2 years front of house experience, including experience as a server and bartender
- Beer knowledge is preferred but not required. We do have 44 rotating taps as well as a full cocktail and wine menu.
- Understanding of food, beer, wine, and cocktail menus
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiar with industry’s best practice
