Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of quality assurance processes, as well as the ability to utilize precision measuring instruments and conduct thorough inspections. The Quality Assurance Inspector will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our quality management systems and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Review quality control and product consistency.
- Receive customer complaints.
- Ensure paperwork and documents are current.
- Ensuring that customer marinades are followed.
- Documentation of weights to predict usage and yield loss.
- Training of staff.
- Knowledge of food safety and Hazard Analysis.
- Analyze inspection data and prepare detailed reports on findings, including any non-conformance issues.
- Perform quality audits to evaluate the effectiveness of quality systems and processes.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality-related concerns and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and audits in accordance with company policies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality assurance, quality management, or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Experience conducting quality audits is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
