Tara Cares, an Orchard Park based long-term care administrative support company, is currently seeking a Clinical Operations Consultant. This position is required to travel overnight 75% of the time in the Mississippi area.
The Clinical Operations Consultant will assume responsibility for conducting quality assurance reviews in the assigned facilities. Responsible for auditing the quality of care and services according to professional standards of long term care consistent with company policy, federal and state laws and regulations. Provides a consultative and supportive role to the assigned facilities. Recommends resources in an efficient and economical manner to enable each resident to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental or psycho-social well-being. Documents findings and composes accurate, detailed reports of each facility review that is intended to be used in the facility Quality Improvement/Quality Assurance program.
Qualifications
Education/Training: Graduate of an approved school of nursing; current nursing license to practice as a registered nurse in the state(s) for which they provide consulting services and is listed in good standing as confirmed on the State Department of Professional Credentialing. B.S. degree preferred.

Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as fax, telephone, etc. Requires normal range of hearing and vision. Experience: Minimum of 2 – 5 years of work-related experience required; previous
experience in a long-term care setting in a clinical consultant and/or Director of Nursing Services role preferred.
