Tara Cares, an Orchard Park based long-term care Administrative Support Company is seeking a full-time Human Resources Generalist. This is a full-time position, with benefits. It reports to the Employee Benefits Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Compose Offer Letters
- Respond to unemployment claims
- Coordinate recruiting
- Contact candidates and set up interviews
- Contact references for potential new hires
- Update spreadsheet of EDs, AEDs, DNSs, ADNSs semi-weekly
- Research and resolve missing I9s
- Assist in house counsel and outside counsel with employee subpoenas
- Invoice review & approval
- Review and update jobs on talent management sites
- Assist with FMLA requests
- Assist with COVID-19 issues
- Respond to verification of employment requests
- Submit I9 file weekly
- Facilitate accesses for new employees
- Administer new employee on-boarding and orientation
- Assist with corrective counseling
- Conduct exit interviews
- Maintain employee personnel records
- Complete annual Vets 4212 reports
- Complete annual AAP reports
- Complete annual EEO-1 reports
- Administer monthly Service Awards
- Update medical files as necessary
- Respond to human resources-related inquires
- Day to day issues/requests
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Business Management or related field
1-2 years of Human Resources experience preferred
Knowledge of relevant state and federal labor laws
