Tara Pharmacy, located in Pearl, MS is currently seeking a Pharmacy Billing Specialist to join our growing team. Qualified candidates must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of pharmacy insurance billing as it relates in long term care. Demonstrate knowledge of third party reimbursement, including Medicare, Medicaid and Private Pay insurance plans. Experience as a pharmacy technician is a plus.
DUTIES:
Key areas of responsibility include electronic billing of Medicare, Medicaid and third party insurance claims utilizing QS1 pharmacy system.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Pharmacy Tech license required.
The successful candidate will have good communication and phone skills to troubleshoot rejected insurance denials resulting in payment.
Experience with meeting monthly payment reporting deadlines.
The Candidate will work in conjunction with pharmacy staff and supported long term care nursing facilities.
