What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Assistant position at (TARA) The Animal Rights Alliance, Inc.?
Requirements: Must have a minimum of two years experience working as a veterinary assistant. Must feel comfortable working in a fast-paced surgery environment. We are looking for someone that has good teamwork skills, reliable and able to work as a self starter.
This position is full time but could be part time if desired. Salary would be negotiable based on experience .. Should also have strong desire to enhance the welfare of animals.
Individual should have an understanding of our organization’s mission of reducing euthanasia. We believe euthanasia is the number one killer of healthy cats and dogs and is preventable.

We have both mobile and stationary clinic's. Our focus is on getting the cat and dog overpopulation problem under control. We believe the most effective and humane approach is through high volume spaying and neutering.
