We are looking for Per Diem - Weekday vacation coverage for our Admissions and Unit areas.
Requirements:
- 3 weekday shifts per quarter
- 2 holidays per year (New Years, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas)

As a Nurse Practitioner:
- The PMHNP will be responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations and orders on patients being admitted to the hospital.
- Working in a fast-paced environment admitting patients for our adult inpatient units.
- Ability to evaluate Children and Adolescents.
- Comfortable working with dual diagnosis adults and placing orders for patients withdrawing from alcohol or opioids.
- Assist with emergency situations and the ability to make immediate referrals.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team with other NPs, RNs, SW & other staff members.
The Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) will have the following:
- Bachelor's degree required. Must be a graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Program.
- RN licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner within the state of Massachusetts required.
- Massachusetts Registration as Controlled Substances Practitioner
- US DEA License
- Prior experience in a Psychiatry setting is preferred but not required.
- Self-directed, demonstrate initiative and professionalism, and exercise expert clinical judgment to function independently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Current CPR certification required.
