Master Mechanic Opportunity in Dickinson, Michigan

What You’ll Do

Perform expert troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs on aircraft ranging from small single-piston aircraft to Citation 560 or equivalent-sized aircraft.

Conduct engine runs, install service bulletins, and apply service kits to airframes and engines.

Ensure all required log entries are completed accurately as per FAA regulations.

Lead and guide mechanics through advanced tasks, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.

Organize daily tasks and coordinate the inspection and repair of aircraft.

Coordinate materials and tooling requirements to ensure work is completed on time for the entire shift.

Take on challenges with action-oriented solutions, always striving for excellence.

Mentor and support team members in completing advanced tasks while ensuring compliance with standards.

Lead safety and quality improvement initiatives, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Perform all other duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of operations.

What We’re Looking For

Valid FAA A&P Certification : Required for this master-level role.

Valid IA Certification : Required to perform inspections and certifications.

Experience with a Range of Aircraft : Skilled in working on aircraft from small single-piston models up to Citation 560 or equivalent size.

Extensive Troubleshooting Expertise : In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting various aircraft systems and components.

Log Entry Proficiency : Ability to make accurate and thorough log entries in compliance with FAA requirements.

Strong Leadership Skills : Lead and mentor mechanics in completing complex tasks, while ensuring safe practices and high-quality standards.

Organizational Abilities : Coordinate daily tasks, inspections, and tooling / materials for efficient workflow.

Team-Oriented and Self-Driven : Ability to work collaboratively while being self-motivated and committed to safety.

Action-Oriented : Proactively tackles challenges and takes ownership of critical projects.
