Job Summary:

Tareen Dermatology is hiring for a full-time Dispensary Technician Lead. We are a growing physician-owned Dermatology practice located in the Twin Cities Metro.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manages inventory and places weekly orders based on dispensary need.
• Communicates with vendors regarding back order products, availability, and pricing.
• Work as needed in dispensary as a technician covering shifts – entering prescriptions, communicating with medical staff, billing insurance, filling prescriptions, dispensing medications to patients in clinic.
• Ensures patient communication follow up has been completed.
• Assists with problem solving for dispensary staff questions.
• Supporting Dispensary Director with miscellaneous tasks
• Travel to other sites as necessary.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This role will be responsible for helping to resolve employee and patient issues, training new hires, and managing workflow.

Education and Experience:

• High school or equivalent required
• 1-2 year prior healthcare or pharmacy experience required.
• Leadership experience required.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a clinic setting.

• Travel is required to all Tareen Dermatology locations.
• Day shift
• No Weekends
