What You’ll Do:
Administrative Support:
- Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, employment status, and benefits enrollment.
- Prepare and distribute HR-related documents such as contracts, offer letters, and policies.
- Manage HR databases (Workday) and electronic filing systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support the HR Business Partners with administrative tasks in Workday and other systems.
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.
- Prepare new hire paperwork, facilitate and present the onboarding process for new employees.
- Assist with the development and implementation of recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Coordinate training programs and workshops for employees, including scheduling sessions and booking venues.
- Track employee training progress and maintain training records.
- Assist with ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Support HR managers in conducting audits as needed.
- Act as a liaison between employees and HR managers to address concerns and resolve issues.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment through effective communication and support.
- Associate degree required (bachelor’s degree preferred) in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- 2 years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably in HR or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and HRIS software. (Workday preferred)
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Attention to detail and high level of confidentiality.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
