Tarkett has a great opportunity for a Strategic Accounts Coordinator, Hospitality.
The Strategic Accounts Coordinator is the initial point of contact for Tarkett Hospitality customers. They will receive communication and orders through phone calls, email, and website portal. They will also serve as the primary liaison for internal departments such as Sales, Project Management, Credit, Production Planning, Operations, Technical Services, and Shipping to make certain that orders are entered, processed, and fulfilled accurately and timely. They will answer inquiries regarding order progress, product lead times, freight rates, technical specifications, warranties, and required company forms when requested. They will also assign stock and other duties as assigned.

- Primary point of contact for select strategic national accounts.
- Receive communication and orders through phone calls, email and website portal.
- Uses knowledge of Customer Service to meet customers’ expectations and deliver products in a timely manner
- Communicates with all customers via phone, email and other electronic means as necessary.
- They will assign stock, and may manage inventory, including preparing periodic inventory reports for Strategic Accounts.
- Primary point of contact for key accounts and internal stakeholders including project management, sales, operations, and logistics.
- Works closely with salespersons and contract department to verify sales splits and contract compliance, and to fully support the ordering and shipment processes
- Works with our strategic customers to establish inventory levels by analyzing forecasting provided by the customer, and to process their orders when entered
- Prepares quotations for contract partners purchasing from contracts when necessary.
- Processes customer carpet and sample orders, and tracks shipments through delivery as required
- Accesses customer’s websites to retrieve purchase orders, and to log order information as required on those sites
- Uses keyboarding, data entry skills and computer programs (Excel, CAMS, AS400, Word)
- Interacts with people from various departments
- Provides product specifications, installation instructions, and warranty forms when requested
- Prepares inventory reports for stocking programs as needed
- Processes and tracks orders though phone calls, email, fax and website portals.
- Proactively looks for solutions to customer requests
- Uses keyboarding, data entry skills and computer programs (Excel, CAMS, AS400, Word, CRM, etc.)
- Provides product specifications, installation instructions, and warranty forms when requested
- Cross trains in all facets of the department and may serve as backup for others in the department
- Answering calls in a high call-volume setting
- Other duties as assigned
Experience & Education Desired:
- A history of success in customer service, inside sales or a similar field
- High school diploma or GED and 3 years of customer facing experience
- Experience in Hospitality, hard and soft surfaces a plus
- Experience in CAMS/AS400 preferred
- Experience in Hospitality, hard and soft surfaces a plus
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills a must
