The BI/Information Systems Manager will lead the development and enhancement of our data analytics capabilities, using Power BI to deliver valuable insights and reporting capability that drive business decisions.
Where YOU make the impact!
- Improve Internal Systems, processes, reports, and maintain existing Power BI dashboards, improve data visualization and reporting to help leaders make data informed decisions.
- Optimize PowerBI and fully implement and utilize new software (Service Insights, Ceres, Blackbaud CRM) providing the fuel to drive better and faster decisions.
- Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes by integrating data from various sources and applying Feeding America network best practices in data analytics.
- Assist the IT Helpdesk as needed, ensuring timely issue resolution and consistently high service standards.
- Continuously analyze Helpdesk performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance user support and efficiency.
- Lead key projects related to both Power BI and IT services, ensuring alignment with business goals and evolving needs.
- Mentor and support the growth of Helpdesk and analytics team members, fostering collaboration and skill development.
- Collaborate with business leaders to ensure data solutions and IT services effectively meet current and future needs.
- You will drive a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Mentor and develop staff.
- Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, and conduct annual performance appraisals for the Data Analyst.
What you’ll need to be successful!
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5 years of experience with Power BI, IT support management, Python, SQL
- Strong ability to enhance data reporting processes and manage IT infrastructure.
- Strong leadership presence with the innate ability to take charge, leverage data, take risks, and ensure compliance.
- Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
Physical Environment
- May be expected to work shifts or be on call in an office and warehouse environment
- May be necessary to work extra hours to finish a job
- Frequent walking, standing and prolonged periods of sitting
- Lifting and carrying equipment up to 50 pounds; reaching, bending and occasional Stair climbing
- May encounter occasional exposure to fumes and/or airborne particles, and hear moderate noise from office and warehouse equipment
