Job Summary
Reporting to the District Director of Student Affairs, the Director of Student Success Initiatives is responsible for managing high level projects to support the college’s strategic goals. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Essential Performance Requirements
- Crafts clear and concise content, such as Executive Reports, Board Memos, and Grant Summaries, for different audiences, including federal agencies
- Drafts and negotiates terms, expectations, and responsibilities of agreements, such as MOUs, to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with institutional goals
- Enhance partnerships and strengthen community engagement efforts Manages the grants process, including proposal preparation, narrative writing, and data analysis for outcomes reporting; researches and monitors application processes to ensure compliance with grant requirements, deadlines, and reporting structures
- Establishes best practices and reviews and enforces the integration of policies and procedures
- Manages multiple large-scale projects through initiation, planning, implementation and evaluation within established timelines and budget allocations and develops and implements assessment tools to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to grant performance, project outcomes, and institutional impact
- Coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure project completion and facilitates effective communication
- Ensures financial efficiency and accountability of grant budgets in accordance with financial policies and analyzes financial data to make informed decisions that maximize the impact of available resources
