Now Hiring – Pharmacy Technician - Immunizer for our Rocky Hill, CT Location as a temporary, seasonal employee as needed for flu season (Sept-Nov)

Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy – We provide specialized care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the United States. We have been providing long-term care pharmacy services since 2007, but we originated as part of our independent retail pharmacy, Tarrytown Pharmacy, which has been serving the local community since 1941. Through our dedication to provide excellence to our customers, we have grown from a small independent pharmacy to a multi-state long-term care pharmacy solution.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure Patient Safety during all vaccine clinics.
• Follow all Pharmacy Professional Practice and Regulatory Requirements
• Quality Assurance
• Customer Service, represent TTE onsite and facilitate any accommodations requested by clients.
• Inventory Management of all provided vaccines.
• All other duties as assigned by Pharmacist-in-Charge
  
  

Requirements

• Must possess an active Connecticut State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and ability to work well within a team.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to de-escalate and troubleshoot pharmacy-related issues.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to withstand long hours of computer screen time and deskwork
• Must be able to stand/be on feet for duration of an eight (8) hour shift
