- Manages the workflow processes which may include pharmacist verification and labeling/packaging
- Reviews medication orders and evaluates their appropriateness and completeness
- Complies with federal and local pharmacy laws as regulated by the Kansas State Boards of Pharmacy, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Food and Drug Administration.
- Performs all job duties with a friendly, positive and team-oriented approach
- Maintains required licenses or certifications in good standing
- Complies with all company policies, procedures, rules and standards
- All other duties as assigned by Pharmacist-in-Charge
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must possess a Texas State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License
- Experience with document management system such as Docutrack or ECM preferred but not required
- Positive personality who is able to work well within a team
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Can de-escalate and troubleshoot problems within the pharmacy
- Rotating schedule*
Week 2: 5/8s, 12pm-8pm
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to withstand long hours of computer screen time and deskwork
- Must be able to stand/be on feet for duration of an eight (8) hour shift
