Tarvos Talent is seeking an AP Clerk for a hybrid position in the Central Houston area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a fast-paced accounting team while ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of AP operations.
As an AP Clerk, you will be responsible for processing invoices, validating and inputting data, and researching AP inquiries from vendors. Additional responsibilities include assisting with monthly close, maintaining compliance with AP policies, and supporting various AP functions within the organization.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in high-volume accounts payable, preferably in a fast-paced environment. An associate’s degree is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered. The ability to prioritize workloads, communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors, and consistently meet deadlines is essential. Proficiency in SAP, OCR capture software, Excel (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables), and strong analytical skills are required.
