Tarvos Talent is seeking a Part-Time HR Generalist a client located in South Austin. This remote position is for Austin residents only. This role offers the chance to take on a variety of HR tasks while ensuring seamless support for employees and internal processes.
As a Part-Time HR Generalist, you will manage the HR inbox, fielding questions, delegating tasks, and responding to employee inquiries. Key responsibilities include providing login access, locating W-2 information, and handling ad hoc requests. Additionally, you will respond to unemployment claims and track workers’ compensation cases, ensuring adjusters have the information they need.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with solid HR experience. You must be proficient in handling unemployment claims, including navigating multi-state requirements, and have experience with workers' compensation processes. Strong email communication skills, a polished and professional demeanor, and the ability to prioritize HR tasks effectively are essential for this role. Familiarity with Paylocity and the ability to navigate unemployment commission websites is highly desirable.
