The ERP Systems Specialist (Infor Syteline) will support both leadership and staff, focusing on enhancing system performance and reporting. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of Syteline experience (versions 7-10), 3-5 years of Mongoose development, and 5 years of SQL expertise. Experience in multiple Syteline implementations and reporting is key. This role involves liaising between Syteline and employees, providing training, support, and creating Standard Operating Procedures, while contributing to the continuous improvement of the system.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the procurement, planning, and budgeting for both software and hardware solutions, ensuring the deployment of essential systems such as Doc-Track, Shop-Track, and Factory-Track.
- Lead the development, assessment, and maintenance of the company’s network systems, including ERP software, while continuously optimizing IT infrastructure through risk analysis, gap analysis, and proposing system improvements.
- Provide training and support to employees on system configurations, ensuring they are equipped to use the software effectively, and develop customized reports, new forms, and ERP system logic to meet company needs.
- Act as a technology advisor to business leaders, delivering solutions for system improvements, and collaborate in the creation of an optimized ERP environment.
- Supervise and manage external consultants, monitoring their work schedules to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Expertise in managing both enterprise hardware and software solutions.
- Proven experience in ERP system implementations.
- 5-7 years of direct experience with Syteline, ideally in a manufacturing context.
- Strong proficiency in ERP software and office applications.
- 5 years of experience with SQL; experience with Mongoose is an advantage.
- Focused on industry best practices and models for system optimization.
- Familiarity with Windows Server 2012 or later versions preferred.
- Knowledge of the ITIL framework is a plus.
