What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Cashier/Receptionist position at Tasca Automotive Group?
We’re looking for a welcoming and professional Receptionist/Cashier to be the first point of contact for our valued customers. In this role, you’ll manage the front desk, answer calls, and assist with service and repair transactions to create a positive and seamless experience. CDK experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Answer dealership phones, direct calls as needed, and address customer inquiries.
- Provide information about services performed or products purchased, or refer customers to the appropriate team member.
- Process cash, check, and credit card payments; accurately record amounts received.
- Issue receipts, refunds, or credits to customers when necessary.
- Support management with various clerical tasks to facilitate smooth operations.
- Reconcile the cash drawer at the end of each day.
- Maintain a professional appearance and ensure the reception area is neat and organized.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to accurately calculate material charges, repair costs, and taxes.
- Familiarity with different types of warranties.
- Organizational skills to manage clerical tasks efficiently.
