About The Role

This role involves mentoring the AR team, resolving billing disputes, and implementing process improvements. About The Role
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Lead manages the AR operations, ensuring timely payments, accurate reconciliations, and effective collections. Additionally, they ensure compliance with accounting standards, support audits, and maintain accurate financial records to optimize cash flow and customer relationships.
What You’ll Do
- Team Leadership:
- Mentor accounts receivable staff, ensuring they meet performance standards.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
- Accounts Receivable Operations:
- Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and identify potential issues.
- Resolve billing disputes and address customer inquiries with the assistance of Customer Service
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments and reconciliation of accounts.
- Update client billing information.
- Collections:
- Implement collection strategies to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.
- Follow-up on overdue accounts, informing internal departments where needed for assistance.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement in the accounts receivable process and implement solutions.
- Maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Reporting:
- Assist in preparing accounts receivable reports, including aging reports and cash flow forecasts.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and filing of prelien notices for jobs over 100K
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
- Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
- Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
- Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is often preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and collections, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and other relevant tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
