Our client is growing organically and is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team! This role is ON-SITE in Edinburg, TX. Some relocation assistance can be provided.
Reporting directly to the Senior Controller the Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of corporate accounting functions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, general ledger, and retail accounting.
- Ensure monthly closings are done timely and accurately.
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are done timely and accurately.
- Assess current practices and procedures and make recommendations for improvements.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a combination of education and experience
- providing equivalent knowledge.
- Work experience as an Accounting Manager or Finance Manager, 3 or more years’
- work experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills with advanced Excel skills required.
- Efficient in PDI or other large ERP systems.
- Strong experience with Full-Cycle accounting.
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
