Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely, accurate revenue recognition per ASC 606 and company policies.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close processes.
- Review contracts to ensure proper accounting for complex revenue arrangements
- Analyze LTV for brokerage transactions, ensuring alignment with company strategy.
- Assess LTV’s impact on profitability and growth, recommending adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits and internal reviews.
- Manage deferred revenue schedules, ensuring accurate classification and recognition.
- Regularly review deferred revenue balances for compliance.
- Verify revenue accruals and invoices for compliance with policies and standards.
- Resolve discrepancies between accrued revenue, invoices, and recognized revenue.
- Work with Sales, FP&A, and Operations to ensure revenue accuracy.
- Maintain communication on process changes affecting revenue recognition.
- Coordinate with Sales to ensure proper revenue recognition for contracts.
- Identify and implement efficiencies in revenue accounting.
- Enhance automation, accuracy, and compliance.
- Mentor and develop revenue accountants, ensuring high performance.
- Coordinate with auditors to ensure compliance and proper documentation.
- Support audits and tax filings with necessary reports.
- Conduct internal audits on brokerage revenue and LTV policies.
- Lead special projects and provide financial analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 6 years in revenue accounting, including 2 years in management (brokerage/financial services preferred).
- Expertise in ASC 606 and deferred revenue management.
- Experience reviewing revenue accruals and invoices.
- Strong GAAP knowledge, particularly ASC 606 and revenue management.
- Understanding of LTV assessments, brokerage operations, and financial policies.
- Proficiency in Workday and Excel. Knowledge of Alteryx BI a plus!
- Capable of working independently and in fast-paced environments.
Salary : $110,000 - $135,000
